The Disconnected Parent – Reconnecting With Your Child
Do you feel disconnected from your child(ren)? Do you know that your love for them exists but you are unable to express it? I know how that feels. Nearly 7 years ago my, then 2 years old, son nearly died. He accidentally hung himself on a swing set. God miraculously brought him back to us but something died in me that day. I began to push him away out of fear of losing him again. Our bond was broken.

We hear many similar stories from parents across the world. It happens when children are born premature; when a woman suffers through numerous miscarriages and then finally gives birth; when a child is diagnosed with an incurable disease; when a woman is so severely abused that she fears loving anyone else.

God wants to free you. In some of my darkest hours He revealed truths to me that have resurrected the love that I desired for my son and I to share. Our bond has been restored. My heart is healing. I'd love to share these truths with you. Your children deserve it and so do you.
